American Clean Power (ACP) is a client that I’ve worked with through Dialogue Theory on new features and web components. The site was nominated for a Webby in 2022.
Advanced search
As ACP has grown over the years, the amount of content, resources, videos, and events continues to increase exponentially, making search a crucial part of the user experience when visiting the site.

When the site was first built, the search feature was basic in terms of visual design with no filtering options and results that weren't always relevant.

Our solution is an experience that begins as soon as users click into the search box. Popular searches and featured content are displayed right away, helping users find important information quickly.
As a user begins to type in the search box, suggested results are populated in real-time. Once on the results page, comprehensive filters to ensure users are able to find exactly what they're looking for. Users also have the ability to sort content by date or relevance, ensuring they can find the most up-to-date content.
